Wendy Martin
Chief Executive Officer
Licensed Insurance Agent/All 50 States
Wendy leads the team of AthleticsICC Insurance Services as the Chief Executive Officer. She is an accomplished Global Sales Manager, College & Club Gymnastics Coach, Physical Education Teacher, and Intercollegiate Athlete. She brings to AthleticsICC Insurance Services more than 25 years of experience in leading, developing, and implementing superior and successful strategies and outcomes.
In addition to her business acumen, Wendy is an accomplished gymnast. She graduated from the University of Michigan as a 10-time All-American and was inducted into Michigan’s Hall of Fame in 2010. She served as Assistant Gymnastics Coach at the University of Maryland for seven years, where her impact led to much of the team’s success and national rankings. Her collective experience in gymnastics, business, and team-building has driven her to provide comprehensive services and solutions to our clients.
Wendy’s energetic and motivational personality resonates in her professional and personal life. She views her cup as half full, which she uses to pour into her team and her family. Wendy is married and a dedicated mom of two children who loves spending time at the beach, in warm weather, and surrounded by family. Her mantra is to live life to the fullest and motivates those around her to do the same.
Cindy Harb
Licensed Insurance Agent
Cindy is our acclaimed insurance agent. She has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years, specializing in Sports Insurance for the past 14 years. She loves the compassion and dedication her clients have for their athletes. She is driven to provide the most comprehensive and tailored services to her clients, helping them navigate the insurance part of their business and providing them with peace of mind and security.
Cindy has been married to her wonderful husband, Robert, for 35 years. They look forward to expanding their family with the birth of their oldest daughter’s baby, and celebrating their youngest daughter’s marriage. In her spare time, Cindy is involved in several non-profit organizations that provide her with much fulfillment; however, her passion is riding and showing her Morgan Horses. Her family has been part of the Morgan world for over 20 years, and the best part was spending all those years with her girls. If she is not at home or working you will find her at the barn, riding. Cindy has a new horse, Ice Breaker, that she is working hard to become a team with. They look forward to being in the show ring next season!
Elise Ray-Statz
Licensed Insurance Agent
Elise is our Business Development Specialist in the West and Central regions, and is our resident Olympian! Her passion, dedication, and contribution to the sport of gymnastics makes her a valuable asset to the AthleticsICC Insurance Services team. Most notably, Elise is a 2000 Olympian Bronze Medalist. In 2012, she was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, a tribute to the culmination of her skills and accomplishments.
Elise graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005 as the most decorated gymnast in their program’s history as a 14-time All-American, 3X NCAA National Champion and 2015 inductee into Michigan’s Hall of Honor. Giving back to the collegiate community, Elise was assistant coach for 5 years at The University of Washington. Due to the dramatic impact, she had on the team, she was hired on as head coach, and remained in that position for an additional 5 years. She left the program with the most PAC 12, All-American, and Academic awards in the team’s history. Elise led the Huskies to the NCAA Nationals for consecutive years, the first time in two decades.
Her experience as a gymnast and a coach puts her in a position to fully understand the needs and wants of our clients. She offers tailored business solutions that help our clients achieve their goals.
Elise lives in Colorado with her husband and their three children. She enjoys dancing, doing home projects, and anything that involves hanging out with her family!
Marissa King
Licensed Insurance Agent
Marissa is AthleticsICC Insurance Services, National Business Development Specialist. Marissa is a licensed insurance agent residing in Nebraska and truly epitomizes the ultimate experiences in the sport of gymnastics. Marissa is a 2008 Olympian that represented Great Britain in Beijing, China. She was an 11-time All American, 2X National Champion that graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Mass Communications in 2014.
Networking her relationships, in 2022, Marissa was a sports analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network. She was an artistic acrobat in Cirque du Soleil from 2014 to 2020, performing with Amaluna (2014-18) and Alegria (2018-20). Marissa choreographs and coaches when needed at multiple camps and clinics around the country.
Currently, Marissa is the assistant coach at the University of Nebraska and working full time for AthleticsICC Insurance Services. Marissa exudes positivity and really cares about her clients. Her work ethic is nothing short of a hard-working gymnast and coach mentality and she does not miss any details. She is someone you “want” to work with when considering the protection of your greatest asset.
Marissa loves to visit her family, when she has the opportunity, in England. Her favorite place is the beach and anywhere warm and relaxing with her husband, Nebraska assistant coach, Oleksii Koltakov and their son.
Tom Boock
Director of Investigations & Claims Coordinator
Tom Boock is AthleticsICC Insurance Services Director of Investigations and Incident Claims Coordinator. His primary responsibilities include coordinating claims, managing our security camera initiative, and developing policy and best practices training for our clients. Tom brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience, working for the United States Marshal Service, The United Border Patrol, and the Tuscaloosa Police Department. His expertise is in complex domestic and international investigations. He has led initiatives in financial and fugitive investigations, judicial protection, human trafficking, and narcotics and terrorism investigations.
Tom is married to his wife of 26 years and has two daughters. He enjoys time at the beach, fishing, and spending time with his family.
