Wendy Martin
Chief Executive Officer
Wendy leads the team of AthleticsICC Insurance Services as the Chief Executive Officer. She is an accomplished Global Sales Manager, College & Club Gymnastics Coach, Physical Education Teacher, and Intercollegiate Athlete. She brings to AthleticsICC Insurance Services more than 25 years of experience in leading, developing, and implementing superior and successful strategies and outcomes.
In addition to her business acumen, Wendy is an accomplished gymnast. She graduated from the University of Michigan as a 10-time All-American and was inducted into Michigan’s Hall of Fame in 2010. She served as Assistant Gymnastics Coach at the University of Maryland for seven years, where her impact led to much of the team’s success and national rankings. Her collective experience in gymnastics, business, and team-building has driven her to provide comprehensive services and solutions to our clients.
Wendy’s energetic and motivational personality resonates in her professional and personal life. She views her cup as half full, which she uses to pour into her team and her family. Wendy is a dedicated mom of two children who loves spending time at the beach, in warm weather, and surrounded by family. Her mantra is to live life to the fullest and motivates those around her to do the same.
Elise Ray-Statz
Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist
Elise is our Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist focusing on Aerial Arts, Circus, and other High-Risk Sports and is our resident Olympian! Her passion, dedication, and contribution to the sport of gymnastics makes her a valuable asset to the AthleticsICC Insurance Services team. Most notably, Elise is a 2000 Olympic Bronze Medalist. In 2012, she was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, a tribute to the culmination of her skills and accomplishments.
Elise graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005 as the most decorated gymnast in the program’s history and was inducted into Michigan’s Hall of Honor in 2015. Giving back to the collegiate community, Elise was assistant coach for five years at the University of Washington. Due to the dramatic impact she had on the team, she was hired on as head coach and remained in that position for an additional five years. She left the program with the most PAC-12 All-Americans and Academic awards in the team’s history. Elise led the Huskies to the NCAA Nationals for consecutive years, the first time in two decades.
In addition to her competitive and coaching career, Elise performed with Cirque du Soleil in the resident Las Vegas shows “O” and “LOVE” as a dancer and aerial artist.
Her experience as a gymnast, performer, and coach puts her in a position to fully understand the needs and wants of our clients. She offers tailored business solutions that help our clients achieve their goals.
Elise lives in Colorado with her husband and their three children. She enjoys yoga, dancing, home projects, and anything that involves hanging out with her family.
Alys Sweimler
Insurance Administrator
Alys Sweimler is our Insurance Administrator and plays a key role in supporting both our clients and internal teams through her strong customer service background and operational expertise. With over 15 years of experience in customer service, Alys brings a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and organization to everything she does, making her a valuable asset to the AthleticsICC Insurance Services team.
Alys holds a business degree and has sports management experience across both small business and corporate environments. Her background has equipped her with strong problem-solving and project management skills, allowing her to navigate complex processes while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. She is known for her ability to streamline workflows and ensure that each task is handled with care and precision.
Her commitment to service and operational excellence allows her to effectively support client needs while helping the team deliver consistent, dependable solutions. Alys approaches her work with a client-first mindset, ensuring that every interaction reflects professionalism and reliability.
Alys lives in Reading, PA with her husband, two dogs, and a cat. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and traveling—especially to warm, sandy destinations.
Marissa King
Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist
Marissa is a Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist at AthleticsICC, specializing in High-Risk and Everyday Sports. A licensed insurance agent based in Georgia, Marissa brings an exceptional depth of experience shaped by an elite athletic career and a commitment to excellence in everything she does.
Marissa is a 2008 Olympian who represented Great Britain at the Beijing Olympic Games. She was an 11-time All-American and a three-time National Champion before graduating from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Geography. Her accomplishments at the highest levels of sport provide her with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the risks and demands faced by athletes and organizations.
Following her competitive career, Marissa spent six years as an artistic acrobat with Cirque du Soleil, performing in two internationally renowned productions, Amaluna and Alegría. She continues to coach and choreograph and previously served as a sports analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network, further expanding her expertise across the sports industry.
Known for her positivity, attention to detail, and strong work ethic, Marissa is deeply committed to her clients and takes pride in protecting what matters most to them. Her disciplined, results-driven approach—shaped by years as a gymnast and coach—makes her a trusted partner in safeguarding her clients’ greatest assets.
Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending time with her family and visiting relatives in England when possible. She loves the beach and any warm, relaxing destination, especially when shared with her husband and their son.
Jessica Santos
Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist
Jessica Santos is a Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist at AthleticsICC, where she focuses on Events, Dance, Swimming, and other Everyday Sports programs. With a lifelong dedication to athletics and a deep understanding of the sports industry, Jessica brings both passion and strategic insight to her role. Her firsthand experience as an elite athlete allows her to connect authentically with clients and partners, making her a valuable and trusted member of the AthleticsICC team.
Jessica holds degrees in Athletic Coaching Education and brings extensive collegiate coaching experience to the organization. A former NCAA gymnast at West Virginia University, she made history as the last WVU athlete to earn a perfect 10.0. This elite competitive background has shaped her proven ability to develop athletes, build high-performing programs, and deliver consistent results at the highest levels of competition.
Based in Arizona, Jessica lives with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Hunter Hammerschmidt
Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist
Hunter is a Licensed Producer and Business Development Specialist at AthleticsICC, focusing on High-Risk and Everyday Sports. His background in sports management and operational support for leading organizations allows him to bring a practical, solutions-driven approach to serving clients and supporting the AthleticsICC team.
Raised in a family business environment, Hunter developed a strong work ethic and a solid understanding of logistics, accountability, and collaboration. His experience with gymnastics-related organizations and UPS warehouse operations provides valuable industry insight and a results-focused mindset.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoys helping his grandmother with the family business, reflecting the strong values that guide both his personal and professional life.
Lucy Sears
Licensed Insurance Agent
Originally from England and now based in Iowa, Lucy brings an international perspective and a strong commitment to client service. She earned her master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and competed for six years on the Great Britain National Gymnastics Team before continuing her collegiate career at both the University of Utah and the University of Nebraska.
Her background as an elite athlete has shaped her disciplined, detail-oriented approach and dedication to serving clients. Outside of work, Lucy enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time outdoors with their dog, and fishing.
Lisa Domalski
Licensed Insurance Agent
Lisa Domalski is a Licensed Insurance Agent with AthleticsICC Insurance Services, combining her background in athletics, coaching, and leadership to deliver exceptional client service. A former collegiate athlete at Alvernia University, Lisa competed in both soccer and lacrosse, earning All-PAC First Team honors in women’s soccer.
With years of coaching experience from youth through the collegiate level, Lisa is passionate about building relationships and helping clients confidently navigate their insurance needs. She is committed to providing trusted guidance and personalized service every step of the way.
Lisa lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys supporting her boys in their sports, camping with her family, and staying active.
Tom Boock
Director of Investigations & Claims Coordinator
Tom Boock is AthleticsICC Insurance Services Director of Investigations and Incident Claims Coordinator. His primary responsibilities include coordinating claims, managing our security camera initiative, and developing policy and best practices training for our clients. Tom brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience, working for the United States Marshal Service, The United Border Patrol, and the Tuscaloosa Police Department. His expertise is in complex domestic and international investigations. He has led initiatives in financial and fugitive investigations, judicial protection, human trafficking, and narcotics and terrorism investigations.
Tom is married to his wife of 26 years and has two daughters. He enjoys time at the beach, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Cindy Harb
Licensed Insurance Agent
Cindy is our acclaimed insurance agent. She has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years, specializing in Sports Insurance for the past 14 years. She loves the compassion and dedication her clients have for their athletes. She is driven to provide the most comprehensive and tailored services to her clients, helping them navigate the insurance part of their business and providing them with peace of mind and security.
Cindy has been married to her wonderful husband, Robert, for 35 years. They look forward to expanding their family with the birth of their oldest daughter’s baby, and celebrating their youngest daughter’s marriage. In her spare time, Cindy is involved in several non-profit organizations that provide her with much fulfillment; however, her passion is riding and showing her Morgan Horses. Her family has been part of the Morgan world for over 20 years, and the best part was spending all those years with her girls. If she is not at home or working you will find her at the barn, riding. Cindy has a new horse, Ice Breaker, that she is working hard to become a team with. They look forward to being in the show ring next season!
